In cooperation with regional network partners, Wirtschaftsförderung Kreis Kleve has launched a wide range of projects - always with the aim of promoting a dynamic, sustainable economic landscape, attracting skilled labour to the region and finding innovative solutions to current challenges.
The 'Forum Kreis Kleve' presents itself as a dynamic economic development radio station that takes a fresh look at the economic landscape of the district of Kleve. Entrepreneurs, experts and creative minds share their experiences, ideas and perspectives. Since 2007 every year and every Sunday from 9.05 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. on the frequencies of Antenne Niederrhein.

Together with all Volksbanken and Sparkassen in the Kleve district, Wirtschaftsförderung Kreis Kleve is committed to strengthening cooperation between the regional economy and Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. The aim is to make the university's wide range of opportunities to develop customised technology and management solutions for entrepreneurial challenges accessible to a broad public. This is achieved in particular by honouring outstanding examples of best practice each year, which highlights the successful cooperation between business and the university.
A project sponsored by the Sparkassen and Volksbanken enabled Wirtschaftsförderung Kreis Kleve to organise a video competition. The aim was to produce a cinema spot with short statements presenting the advantages of "Living and working in the Kleve district". A large number of companies took part in the selection process and sent their application videos to Wirtschaftsförderung Kreis Kleve. A jury then selected the candidates for professional filming, from which the cinema spot was ultimately created.

The co-operation between Wirtschaftsförderung Kreis Kleve and all Volksbanken and Sparkassen in the district has already proven its worth over many years. Together, special things have been organised: The colourful hot-air balloon "Start-Up", which is accompanied by the logos of Wirtschaftsförderung Kreis Kleve, Volksbank and Sparkasse, now repeatedly rises high up in the Kleve district. The key messages on the sky giant: "Space for investment - Kreis Kleve" on one side - "Gründerland Kreis Kleve" on the other.
Image-defining campaigns for the particularly distinctive food industry have been created in cooperation with well-known brands from the Kleve district. Where agriculture has shaped the reputation of a fruitful region for generations, they have worked hard to establish themselves close to the border with the Netherlands.
Exchanging ideas, creating synergies, pooling expertise: Together with regional network partners, the Wirtschaftsförderung Kreis Kleve works actively to promote the economic development of the region and is represented on the committees of organisations such as Agrobusiness Niederrhein e.V., Genussregion Niederrhein e.V., Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, Niederrhein Tourismus GmbH and Standort Niederrhein GmbH.
